Transition flashing is used when you have a roof that has two different pitches. The transition trim is located where the two different pitches meet so the metal roof does not leak. Transition flashing is also referred to as pitch break trim and comes high to low or low to high.
For every 10' of transition flashing, you will need 10' of zee closure.

To calculate the total number of accessories you will need for your job, simply take the number of trim pieces associated with the trim part purchased and multiply the list by that number for a total for your project.

Z metal closure is used when metal trim needs to be attached to the top of a standing seam metal roofing panel. The zee bar provides the trim with something to attach to and creates a fixed point of contact. It's used most frequently at the ridge, peak, transition, and endwall.
