R Panel Metal Roofing

r-panel-vs-pbr-panelR Panel is a generic term that generally means either R Panel or PBR Panel. The main difference is R panel does not have a purlin bearing leg and PBR panel does. It's a 36" wide metal panel with raised ribs.

  • R Panel should only be used for a wall or fence.
  • PBR Panel is designed for a roof and will also be appropriate for siding, walls, and fencing.
  • We only offer PBR Panel as it costs the same and will work for both roofs and walls.

R Panel and PBR Panels are the nicest roofing, siding, and fencing panel that’s available for the least amount of money. They are a low-maintenance, durable alternative to asphalt shingle roofing. These panels can be installed either on a solid substrate or open framing such as metal purlins or wood support beams.
