The four main advantages in using Burnished Slate when compared to real copper roofing are:
Burnished Slate can be used in exterior or interior applications. It is a perfect solution for an interior application as it arrives looking patina'd. With real copper wall panels you would have to pre-weather it and than seal it. This takes time and money. You eliminate all of these problems by using Burnished Slate instead of real copper panels.
If you are interested in this color I would highly recommend requesting a sample of PBR Panel in Burnished Slate. You really need to see this panel up close to appreciate the beauty and authenticity of this paint finish.
