Western Seam is a 1.5" deep standing seam metal roofing panel. It's a concealed fastener snap lock panel that does not have clips. It's fastened through the fastening flange and directly to the roof deck.
Nail strip roofing panels have the advantage of concealed fasteners, a streamlined appearance, and a less complicated and costly installation. The key difference with the nail strip system is that it eliminates the use of clips. This creates some major shortcomings when compared to other types of standing seam panels. Nail strip may not be the best fit for every roofing project.
Although we sell this type of standing seam panel, we recommend that you use a clip system panel whenever possible.
