Specialty paint prints are a metal roofing color that's been painted repeatedly giving the finish depth and authenticity. Quite often, a paint print will try to replicate a naturally occurring patina such as weathered zinc, copper, or rust.
Do you have a roof or wall that’s the focal point of your building? Maybe, you want something that’s unique and different than everyone else? If so, we have stunning colors that actually look like a real patina’d metal. You get the beauty of an antique and aged metal without the cost or problems.
Specialty paint prints are a metal panel that's been painted repeatedly. The paint line applies a base coat of solid color on the coil and then the coil runs through a second time with a different color using a special engraved paint roller that creates a pattern on the coil. You end up with a two or three tone paint system that's absolutely stunning and completely different than a solid metal roofing color.
Specialty paint finishes cost about an additional dollar per square foot when compared to a standard solid PVDF painted panel.
We offer six distinct series of pre-painted metals that resemble various stages and types of patinated metals.

Copper Colors

Matte colors are flat and have less of a glare than your standard glossy metal roofing colors. If you’re looking to increase the curb appeal of your house, then using a dark matte finish can be the perfect solution. A matte finish can be useful when working with black because it can soften the sometimes harsh appearance that black or other dark colors might give off.
A glossy metal roofing color will give off a more dramatic, intense appearance than a matte metal roofing color. You should choose this finish type if you want a roof with a shinier appearance. This is becoming more commonplace because it reduces the glare for all of the neighboring residences.

If you aren't looking for a specialty paint print or a matte color then check out all of our standard colors. PVDF is a high-performance paint system with an extraordinary ability to retain color and gloss. It keeps metal looking bright, vibrant, and appealing. PVDF is the chosen paint system that architects around the world specify on their buildings.
When you're deciding upon a metal roofing color an important decision is which type of paint system to use. There are two paint systems that are used regularly for metal roofing and siding, SMP and PVDF. Choosing between the two systems is a balancing act between price and performance.
The main advantage of SMP painted panels is they will cost less and are available in lighter gauges. The main disadvantage is that they have less resistance to UV exposure and will fade and chalk at a greater rate.
