Iron Rust® Is The Least Expensive Painted Version Of Rust. This is accomplished by supplying the steel in 26 gauge instead of 24 gauge. In addition, this panel is an SMP paint finish instead of a PVDF paint finish. We use a high quality SMP paint with a limited 25 year paint warranty. In most applications the 26 gauge material has plenty of strength also. This is the perfect panel for the job with a tight budget. Typical cost savings of appx. 50 % vs. a PVDF paint print in 24 gauge. Iron Rust® is designed to look like an old and rusty roof that has orange and brown rust spots. Available in metal roofing/siding, flats and coil.

The three main advantages in using Iron Rust® when compared to real rusted roofing are:
Iron Rust® can be used in exterior or interior applications. It is a perfect solution for an interior application as it arrives looking weathered. With real Corten you would have to pre-rust it and than seal it. This takes time and money. You eliminate all of these problems by using Iron Rust ® instead of Corten.
If you are interested in this color I would highly recommend requesting a 7/8" Corrugated sample panel in Iron Rust®. You really need to see this panel up close to appreciate the beauty and authenticity of this paint finish.
