The three main advantages in using Copper Penny when compared to real copper roofing are:

  1. Cost savings of 60 % to 75 % when compared to real corrugated copper
  2. Run off from real copper roofing will stain the surrounding areas. Copper Penny is a painted product so you will NOT have these problems.
  3. Standard Paint Warranty With Copper Penny. Real copper does NOT have a WARRANTY.

If you are interested in this color I would highly recommend requesting a 7/8" Corrugated sample panel in Copper Penny. You really need to see this panel up close to appreciate the beauty and authenticity of this paint finish.
